Carlos Delgado

Carlos Delgado began his professional career in 1997, as a rhythm guitarist in Double Suite.

Two years later he began to move as a freelance guitarist in the Costa Rican market, accompanying bands and artists such as Inconsciente Colectivo, Squad, Escats, Arnoldo Castillo, Tatiana Gómez, Bernardo Quesada, Tito Oses, Malpaís, among others.

He has also been able to accompany several international artists, such as Alejandro Filio, Fernando Delgadillo, Edgar Oceransky, Jean Michell Byron (Toto), Martín Valverde, Hernaldo Zuñiga, Braulio, Juan Bau, Dyango, Natalia Lafourcade.

He is currently a recording and concert guitarist, working for both Costa Rican and foreign artists.

He has studied with private guitar and harmony teachers, including Cuban guitarist Jorge Chicoy, in addition to traveling to California to study at the Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA).

He is endorsed by several brands including Paul Reed Smith guitars, Bamboo cables, and Little Endian Engineering pedals.

Carlos uses the Arenal Overdrive in his pedalboard.
